School Clinic

Information from the School Clinic

The School Clinic is located along the rear corridor on the ground floor, close to the MPH and has two full time nurses and a doctor, bringing many years of varied experience working with children.

School Medicals

The Clinic will closely follow the rules and regulations laid down by the School Health Section of the Department of Health and Medical Services, Dubai.  The School Doctor will carry out physical examinations (as recommended) for Year 1, Year 5 and all new students joining in each year group.

Immunisations

The immunisation programme in the U.A.E may be different from that in your country. The programme here is based on recommendations for the region from the World Health Organisation.  Hepatitis B and BCG vaccinations are given at birth and it is recommended all children have these immunisations prior to starting school.

Immunisations can be carried out in school, to those that register for the service.  Information will be sent home from the School Clinic so you may register before the vaccination date.

Allergies and specific medical requirements

Please could you contact the nurses directly if your child has any specific medical requirements. A quick visit to the clinic or a phone call will help us identify and care for your children in the best possible way.

The clinic is primarily a first aid station but if you have any medical concerns or queries please feel free to contact them for advice.
