Abigail Williams

Year 2 Lead

Abbie Williams-Hall is from a small seaside village called Langland, in South Wales, UK. It was here that she graduated from the University of Bristol, England with a BA (HONS) in Primary Teaching, specialising in English.
After completing her degree, Abbie taught in a small school in Bath for seven years. From there she then made the big and exciting move over to Dubai and to join GEMS Royal Dubai School. Abbie has loved every minute of teaching at RDS! She has been fortunate to have taken on several roles during her time at RDS including Science Co-ordinator, Year Leader as well as being our current High Performance Learning Leader. This is something which she  is incredibly passionate about and proud to lead. In her classroom Abbie ensures that every child feels important, valued, and has that belief in themselves that they can do anything they set their mind to.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as taking her dog, Bobby, for long walks. Abbie also enjoys keeping fit by playing netball, running, cycling and mountaineering. As you can see Abbie strives to challenge herself, and one of her proudest achievements was when herself and her husband  climbed up to the Basecamp of Everest, which was truly spectacular!  She is really looking forward to meeting you and your child. What an exciting year we have ahead of us!
