Dervala Doran

My name is Dervala Doran and I have worked at GEMS Royal Dubai School since 2020, first as a class teacher in Year 6 and now in the Inclusion Team as the Pastoral Lead for the school. I love how my role enables me to meet and work with children across all age ranges in the school from FS to Year 6. I enjoy working with the children to help them unlock their full potential academically and feel settled and happy in school socially and emotionally. I was born and grew up in Ireland but prior to moving to Dubai I lived in London for 8 years where I taught across a range of year groups as well as working in Inclusion.
