The Royal Journey into Secondary
At GEMS Royal Dubai School, we are proud to continue expanding our all-through British curriculum education, creating a seamless learning journey for students from Nursery through to Year 13 within our close-knit and family-oriented school community.
Following the successful launch of Year 7 in the 2024–25 academic year and Year 8 in 2025–26, RDS will welcome Year 9 students in the 2026–27 academic year as part of our growing Secondary School community.
Our future Secondary School campus, opening in August 2026, has been thoughtfully designed to support academic excellence, student wellbeing, innovation and personalised learning within a modern and inspiring environment.
Students will benefit from specialist learning spaces including Design Technology and Food Technology labs, a Makerspace room and a Textile room, supporting hands-on and inquiry-based learning experiences across the curriculum.
The campus will also feature outstanding sports facilities, including MUGA courts, padel courts, a football field and a swimming pool, encouraging physical wellbeing, teamwork and student development beyond the classroom.
Dedicated Drama and Dance studios, a Sixth Form Hall and a Multi-Purpose Hall with a stage will provide opportunities for creativity, collaboration and self-expression across the performing arts.
A modern library and research centre, alongside thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor collaborative spaces, will create dynamic environments where students can explore, connect and excel.
