High International Benchmark achieved in Maths and Science

Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) is an international assessment of student achievement in mathematics and science at the fourth and eighth grades. Dubai was one of the 64 countries to participate in the TIMSS 2019 cycle, having set itself the ambitious target of being placed in the top 15 countries as per the UAE Vision 2021.

At GEMS Royal Dubai School, students from our Year 5 cohort were assessed in 2019. We are extremely proud to report that our students have achieved a High International Benchmark score in both Maths and Science. This is also significantly higher than the average of private schools in Dubai.

GEMS Royal Dubai School has a track record of attainment above the UK benchmark in English, Maths and Science testing.

Foundation Stage 2022

Students in the Early Years Foundation Stage attain levels that are above UK averages. Last year’s GLD (Good Level of Development) results demonstrate excellent outcomes when compared to children in the UK.
