Amanda Richardson

Amanda Richardson is originally from a city called Manchester in England in the United Kingdom. Previously Amanda worked in the UK for 6 years as a teacher, working in Years 2, 4 and 5. She has also previously been a Teaching assistant in Foundation Stage, having a wide range of experiences with different age ranges. Amanda enjoys travelling and has visited many countries including  travelling around Australia. This will be her second year teaching in Dubai and she feels it has been such an inspiring and exciting experience so far!

In her spare time Amanda enjoys experiencing new cultures, which is why she made the decision to move to Dubai, to be able to immerse herself in the culture and continue her passion for teaching. Amanda's philosophy for teaching is to promote a curious and motivated classroom environment where children feel safe, happy and secure. She is passionate about helping children feel engaged, confident and able to take charge of their own learning and becoming successful learners. She is really looking forward to meeting all of our Year 5 families and the learning journey they can develop together!
