Anna Pericleous

Anna Pericleous is originally from the capital city of England, London. Anna has always lived in London but her family background is Greek and she can speak the language fluently. Previously, Anna has worked in London as an Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage Leader and additionally has led Phonics and Ecology. She has taught in a range of year groups but her passion has always remained with the Early Years Foundation Stage. In London, Anna would write columns for a magazine promoting early childhood education and has led teams in reforming the new EYFS Curriculum. This is Annas first year teaching and leading in Dubai, but she has visited the country before and enjoys the culture, traditions and educational programs. She has settled in well and is really looking forward to the year ahead.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking, walks and spending time with her friends and family. She has always felt passionate about creating environments where children can be challenged, motivated and become independent which will support them in their lifelong journeys. Anna supports her team in ensuring children have fun while they learn through a creative, ambitious and immersive curriculum, where children can make accelerated progress. Anna is really looking forward to getting to know all the children and their families and will always be on hand to meet or for conversations at the end of the day.
